Tents @ Hausmärchen

Tent areas:

Tenting is allowed in all areas not reserved for activities by the autocrat.

We kindly ask you to to set up only canvas/medieval looking tents in those areas closest to the list field to help us create a medieval ambiance and backdrop for our main activities and the tournaments. For Hausmärchen, this area is the open square between feast hall, pool, trading post, bath house, and pole barn.

Bathrooms:

If you are tenting on the 'girl side' of the camp (right side of Camp Immokalee) you are welcome to use the bathrooms in the cabins Wilma, Bowen, and Wildlife.
Please note that the cabin "Beaverbob" (first cabin) is exclusively for royal and baronial nobles use and there is no public access to it.

On the 'boy side' of the camp (left side of Camp Immokalee) there is a public bath house with showers, sinks, and toilets.

Camp fires:

Only above-ground fire pits are permitted at Camp Immokalee. Please pay attention to potential fire bans, and follow basic camp fire safety rules at all times:

  1. Position you fire pit away from overhanging branches.

  2. Clear a five-foot area around the pit down to the soil.

  3. Keep a bucket of water and a shovel nearby.

  4. Stack extra wood upwind and away from the fire.

  5. After lighting, do not discard the match until it is cold.

  6. Never leave a campfire unattended.

  7. Do not empty your fire pit when the ashes are still warm.

  8. Only empty your fire pit into an existing fire ring (near cabins).
